Mafinga Chivindi Jua

Jua 18 months old:

Jua is born on the first of december 2008 at Mafinga Rhodesian Ridgebacks in Bloemendaal. Jua is born as 6th in a litter with 7 bitches en 1 dog. Jua is a daughter of Bhanu's biggest friend, Ijaba. Because Ijaba is very special for us too, this was also a very special litter for us. It was such a great experience to be involved in the whole traject before the mating, the special moments during pregnancy and birth and the first, very important, 8 weeks of the puppies!

On the 23th of january 2009 Jua came home. Bhanu and Jua got along very well together immediately and ever since the first day, they are the biggest friends. She loves to cuddle with us, is crazy about the kids and is always able to make us smile. Jua is a very happy, energetic and sweet bitch, who knows what she wants. Outside she loves to come along with us running through the dunes and she loves to play with the whole (Mafinga)pack and her dogfriends. She's always ready for action, so it's a great pleasure to work with her. We took several courses with Jua with good results. At the moment we train human scent tracking with her. In august 2010 Jua obtained her first official certificate Human Scent Tracking. She's the first Ridgeback in the Netherlands who obtained this certificate (!).

We also participate in dogshows with Jua.
